Mechanics Design

Weapon Design

  • Created balanced player movement 

  • Developed engaging weapon mechanics 

  • Design strengths and weaknesses for both players and enemies 

  • Developed unique weapons that have separate firing modes

  • Designed multiple weapons and ensuring each one felt different 

  • Established balancing with each weapon ensuring each get there time in the spot light 

Enemy Design

  • Create enemies that have a distinct role within combat.

  • Balancing them to ensure they are a threat but not overwhelming.

  • Designed believable behaviors that feel natural to the player.

Our Goal

Create a fast-paced shooter with intense, immersive gunplay and distinct movement mechanics, offering a unique experience in the Sci-Fi genre.

Challenges & Solutions

We had to scale down the original scope by cutting levels, mechanics, and features to maintain focus on core gameplay. This allowed us to streamline development and ensure a smooth workflow.

Outcome & Next Steps

Demo slated for release in December. While polishing and final elements are in progress, the game has already gained attention for its quality and potential.
